announced a strategic partnership with eProctor Canada, a division of the Canadian Police
Knowledge Network, to provide secure, remote proctoring for its online OSINT Certification
examinations. This partnership marks a milestone in the professionalization of open-source
intelligence investigations in Canada.
Open-source intelligence (OSINT) analysts and investigators play an increasingly critical role in
modern investigations, leveraging publicly available data to support law enforcement, legal
proceedings, corporate risk assessments, and national security efforts. Despite its widespread
use, OSINT has not yet been formally recognized as a regulated professional discipline or
designation; a gap that can limit the admissibility, credibility, and courtroom defensibility of
OSINT-derived findings.
This partnership directly addresses that challenge by implementing a vetted examination
process and marks a meaningful step toward establishing standardized, verifiable, and
professionally governed credentials for OSINT practitioners.

accepted in court. The introduction of live-proctored examinations reinforces the rigor,
accountability, and integrity of OSINT certification, aligning it more closely with established
investigative and forensic disciplines.
